Ambassador Committee
REASONS TO BE A PART OF THE
AMBASSADOR TEAMWORK!
Ambassadors are notified of new business openings and given the opportunity to stop in and introduce yourself as a representative of the Chamber, in turn promoting yourself and business as well.
Ambassadors attend grand openings, receiving exposure through the local newspaper and to network.
Ambassadors help the Chamber host quarterly new member orientations, providing the opportunity to invite new and returning members to a valuable networking event, further enhancing your credibility within the Chamber.
Ambassadors assist at the monthly Chamber Membership Luncheons greeting members, checking guests in, invocation host, etc. Great exposure to meet other members one-on-one!
Ambassadors help recruit new members.
Being an AMBASSADOR is about staying in touch.
The purpose of the Ambassador Team is primarily to intorduce the Maumee Chamber to businesses in the community and to make new members feel welcome. As a member outreach program our goal is to encourage active participation and thus continue to maintain a strong organization where its members work well together.
The Maumee Chamber of Commerce offers a variety of important opportunities aimed at providing networking connections and community exposure to help the small business person stay focused and prosper. The job of an Ambassador is to educate its members and just stay in touch.
As an AMBASSADOR you are required to attend 75% of the monthly planning meetings and Chamber Luncheons. This is a strong committee dedicated to being effective and a visable part of the Chamber.
The Ambassador Team meets bi-monthly, the third Friday of the month from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at different locations.
